Another sad story..
A story of «brother and sister»
A girl walked silently through the thick white show. Distant voices and cold looks past by her. She stares blankly into the starry sky. A magical tail of a wishing star dashed across the sky. She did not make a wish, because after all, nothing could fufill it.
She dug out a faint photograph from her jacket pouch. She looks at the potrait and her aqua blue eyes started to sparkle. A tiny smile drew across her face, HE was the reason for her whole existance.
She stopped upon a giant gate. Behind those iron bars lies a beautiful mansion. She took a deep breath and pushed her icy finger to the bell.
"Yes?How may i help you?"
A voice from the speakers startled her. "Um.. em.. im Fukashi. Fukashi Isuko. Im here, for a job."
"We've been expecting you. Please enter"
She walked down the great path towards a wooden door. The mansion was made of white marble. She took a step and opened the door. On the other side, was a warm, and almost magical place she had ever been to.
A lady walked towards her. " Ms. Isuko? Am I right?"
"Y..Yes."
"Please come in. I am the Head of the servants in this mansion. One of our maid just quit her job and you'll fit in just right."
"Um..What am i suppose to do?"
"You, will be serving our young master. Koizumi Sazu. You'll only address him as Koizumi-kun.(Mr.Koizumi)"
Her face lighten up. Koizumi was the one she was searching all along.
"O..Okay. I'll get to it right away."
She was brought to a room where they had prepared her maid dresses and her bed. She changed quickly and rushed outside.
"Mr.Koizumi will be arriving soon."
Suddenly, the door swinged open. On the other side, was a boy. Around 16, just a few years older than her. She looked up. A smile appeared upon her face, a smile bigger than any other.
"Welcome back. Master Koizumi" The servants greeted.
The Head of servants introduced Koizumi to Isuko. His looked so warm and lovely. From that day on, Isuko served him like he was her family. Their love grew and grew. When everyone else saw those two together, they would feel a certain warmth that couldn't be found anywhere else.
Koizumi cared for Isuko like his own sister. He even taught her how to read and write. Sometimes, when no one was around, he would let her live as if she was from a rich family. Of course, they were scolded everytime they were caught but that didn't stop them.
One day, Isuko had a very high fever. Koizumi took care of her even though he wasn't allowed to. The fever that Isuko had didn't get better even though she was treated with the best doctors in the country.
A few days later, while walking around her room, Koizumi found an old photograph on the floor. There was something written behind the photograph. It reads " Sazu and Fukashi. "
Surprised, he turned the photograph. There was a picture of him sitting beside a young girl whom look alot like Isuko. He looked as if he was only 4 years old. He couldn't understand what the picture meant.
Suddenly, a warm hand hugged him from the back. "Koizumi -kun... I wanted to tell you all these time..."
Warm tears trickled upon him.
"I've been searching for you..ever since our mother passed away.. im sure you don't remember...Mother told me that she had to give you away to someone when we were both very young..She didn't want to..but if she couldn't took care of both of us... I found out from strangers that you were adobted by a rich family... you see, im your.. younger sister.."
Koizumi turned around.. and gave her a big hug. " Im so happy! I am so happy that we are related! now you don't have to work and be scolded any more!when you fever gets better we could..."
Isuko's silent tears turned into loud painful sobs. "Isuko.. whats wrong?"
"Onii-san(big brother).. I wish i could be with you too... but im sorry.. I have to leave... I couldn't come back again...I..I just want you to see you again...And tell you that.. I love you."
Her last tear drop fell, and then...nothing.
She was gone.. Glittering diamond dusts dropped from all around the room... and at the place where Isuko was sitting, was a Wooden star... on it write " We're a family..always"
Koizumi didn't understand what happened. He didn't know where Isuko went. He just sat there, starring at the star. Suddenly, the door opened, and a servant came rushing in. "Young master. She was in the papers." She handed yesterday's newspaper to Koizumi.
On one of the pages, there was a picture of Isuko. and the story states " A girl who fell into a coma when she was involved in a car accident 5 years ago had passed away today."
"This might not mean anything to you young master." the servant spoke,"But.. I believe, she wanted to meet you badly...and that feeling alone was what made her seemed real.. I believe..that her wish had been fufilled.."
